WhatsApp in Make, without the Meta approval process

Flow API lets any Make scenario send WhatsApp messages from your own number and start a scenario when a message arrives. You use Make's standard HTTP and Webhooks modules, so nothing extra needs installing.

Send a message from a scenario

  1. 1Create a Flow API number and scan the QR code with WhatsApp.
  2. 2In Make, add an HTTP → Make a request module.
  3. 3Set the URL to https://flowapi.pro/waInstance{idInstance}/sendMessage/{apiTokenInstance}, method POST, body type Raw JSON.
  4. 4Body: {"chatId": "{{phone}}@c.us", "message": "{{text}}"}
  5. 5Run once: the message arrives on WhatsApp within seconds.

Start a scenario on incoming messages

  1. 1Add a Webhooks → Custom webhook module as the trigger and copy its address.
  2. 2In the Flow API console, open your number → Settings and paste it as the Webhook URL.
  3. 3Send your number a WhatsApp message; Make receives it with senderData.chatId and messageData.textMessageData.textMessage.

Skip the setup: import a blueprint

In the console, each number's Integrations tab has two Make blueprints already filled in with your credentials: "Send WhatsApp message" and "Auto-reply to incoming messages". In Make choose ⋯ → Import blueprint.

Moving from Green API

Your existing HTTP modules keep working. Replace api.green-api.com with flowapi.pro and use your new instance ID and token. Request bodies and webhook payloads are the same.
