How to send WhatsApp messages from Make
This guide takes about five minutes. You need a Make account and a WhatsApp number you can scan a QR code with.
1. Get your credentials
Sign up at flowapi.pro, create a number and scan the QR code from WhatsApp → Settings → Linked devices. Copy the Instance ID and API Token from the Credentials tab.
2. Add the HTTP module
- 1In your scenario add HTTP → Make a request.
- 2URL: https://flowapi.pro/waInstance{idInstance}/sendMessage/{apiTokenInstance}
- 3Method: POST. Body type: Raw. Content type: JSON (application/json).
3. Write the body
{
"chatId": "{{1.phone}}@c.us",
"message": "Hi {{1.name}}, thanks for your order!"
}4. Run once
Click Run once. A 200 response with an idMessage means the message was sent. A 401 means the instance ID or token is wrong; a 402 means the trial ended or the number is not covered by your plan.
5. Send a file instead
Change sendMessage to sendFileByUrl in the URL and send {"chatId": "…", "urlFile": "https://…/file.pdf", "fileName": "file.pdf", "caption": "…"}.
