Guide
Receive WhatsApp messages with a webhook
Flow API pushes every event to a URL you choose, in the Green API notification format. If you cannot expose a public URL, you can pull the same events with long polling.
Set the webhook
POST https://flowapi.pro/waInstance{idInstance}/setSettings/{apiTokenInstance}
{"webhookUrl":"https://your-server.com/whatsapp","incomingWebhook":"yes","outgoingWebhook":"yes","stateWebhook":"yes"}What you receive
- incomingMessageReceived: a new message
- outgoingMessageStatus: sent, delivered, read
- outgoingMessageReceived: sent from the phone
- stateInstanceChanged: number connected or disconnected
Reliability
If your server does not answer, Flow API retries three times and then keeps the event in the queue, so you can still collect it with receiveNotification.
No public URL? Long polling
GET …/receiveNotification/{apiTokenInstance}?receiveTimeout=20
# process it, then:
DELETE …/deleteNotification/{apiTokenInstance}/{receiptId}Try it on your own number
